Andrew J. Shogan
Chief Operating Officer; Board Member
Andrew J. Shogan has operated in various management roles since the Company’s inception in 2006. He has previously served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Business Development, and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Shogan began his career with Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. where he worked in the Health Care Investment Banking Group. He first served as a Corporate Finance Financial Analyst and then as Corporate Finance Associate. Mr. Shogan’s primary role was to manage day-to-day tasks on financing and merger and acquisition projects for emerging growth health care companies. He also assisted client company management teams in developing and building comprehensive financial models and with drafting various private and public offering documents.
Mr. Shogan worked with companies in many sub-sectors of the health care industry, including biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, drug delivery, medical device, life sciences and health care services companies. He participated in over twenty financing and merger and acquisition transactions including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, convertible and corporate debt offerings as well as in both sell-side and buy-side advisory roles.
Mr. Shogan graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and Psychology.
