R.P. Raju, M.D.

R.P. Raju, M.D. is a US-trained radiation oncologist who now resides in Hyderabad, India. He began his career in the U.S. where he owned and operated a private radiation oncology practice in Altoona, Pennsylvania for 20 years.
After returning to Hyderabad, India in the early 1990s, Dr. Raju played a key role in the development of Indo-American Cancer Institute & Research Center, Hyderabad and Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences (ASRAM), Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. He was Co-Founder of Hyderabad-based Care Hospital and served as its Executive Director & Director of Finance for 10 years.
Dr. Raju is the founding director of Citizens Hospital, Hyderabad, the group developing the full-service medical campus on which Cancer Treatment Services Hyderabad will operate. In addition to his investments in the healthcare industry in Hyderabad, Dr. Raju is engaged in several other business ventures, including various Hyderabad real estate developments.
