Cancer Treatment Services Arizona (CTSA) is a state-of-the-art, full-service outpatient cancer treatment center in Casa Grande, Arizona, that provides university-level care in a community setting. CTSA’s physicians and clinical staff have access to cutting-edge protocols that integrate medical and radiation oncology services, including advanced conformal therapies, IMRT and IGRT, RapidArc™, in-house and remote radiation oncology treatment planning, radiosurgery expertise, brachytherapy capabilities and comprehensive chemotherapy protocol development. Additionally, our physicians have access to national research studies, leading technology and informatics related to clinical outcomes. Patient care at CTSA is second-to-none and allows for a full range of outpatient cancer services that are provided in a comfortable and convenient local setting.
Integrated oncology clinic. The new 11,500 square foot facility brings two highly trained, full-time physicians, who are capable of addressing all aspects of outpatient cancer care, to the Casa Grande community. Our multi-disciplinary approach incorporates the latest technologies and therapies in radiation and medical oncology.
Range of experience. Our two oncologists and our Director of Operations bring over 75 years of combined oncology experience having practiced in a broad range of clinical environments, from large urban university systems to smaller community-based clinics.
Strong community ties. CTSA has entered into a joint venture partnership with Casa Grande Regional Medical Center (CGRMC). This partnership with CGRMC ensures close collaboration with the hospital medical staff and departments. Further, CTSA's commitment to the Casa Grande community includes building and strengthening relationships with physicians, community groups and the general public in order to achieve excellence in patient care.
Flagship cancer clinic. CTSA serves as the U.S. hub for a multi-national organization owned and operated by a group of physicians and other oncology professionals with substantial experience in the development, operation and networking of cancer services on a national and global level.
State-of-the-art technology. CTSA is operated as a paperless environment utilizing sophisticated electronic medical record software for all activities. This system provides our physicians with patient information at their fingertips, streamlines the patient care experience and allows for seamless communication with referring physicians.
The best of care and patient comfort in medical oncology. The medical oncology program, which includes standardized chemotherapy regimens, supportive care medication and patient education materials, is based on the clinical pathways and protocols developed by leading medical oncologists. CTSA combines this clinical proficiency with a modern chemotherapy suite, which has eight chemotherapy chairs and two private rooms. Each chair and room boasts a flat-screen LCD TV with a personalized sound system. Our high nurse-to-patient ratio ensures that patients receive personalized attention during their visits with us.
High-tech radiation oncology equipment. The clinic has the Trilogy™ Stereotactic System from Varian Medical Systems. This is a comprehensive technology package that includes 3D conformal radiation therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) treatment modalities. In July 2008, the Trilogy was upgraded to include RapidArc, Varian Medical Systems' newest innovation. RapidArc decreases radiation treatment times by up to 60% while still maintaining the same level of precision and therapeutic efficacy. The clinic also offers a High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy afterloader to treat diseases such as skin and gynecological cancers.
Sophisticated treatment planning. An on-site CT scanner with 4-dimensional capability is utilized for patient simulations for radiation oncology treatments. The staff includes a full-time Medical Physicist and Dosimetrist to support the use of this enhanced treatment planning.
