Susan Vannoni, MSRT (R) (T)
Susan Vannoni is the Director of Operations for Cancer Treatment Services Arizona, in addition to her broader role as Director of Clinical Operations for Cancer Treatment Services International’s network of treatment centers. Ms. Vannoni has been in the oncology industry for over 30 years, leading, managing and educating the field of Radiation Oncology. She is the founder of Radiation Oncology Consultants, LLC, which performs audits of radiation oncology billing and documentation on a national basis. Ms. Vannoni has been Vice President of Clinical Operations, a Manager, Director of a Radiation Therapy School, Educator and has practiced as a Radiation Therapist and a Radiographer.
Ms. Vannoni has developed and directed the implementation of several new technologies including but not limited to IMRT, Gamma Knife, Verify and Record systems, Intravascular Brachytherapy, CT simulation and HDR. She has evaluated all aspects of technical and professional billing.
Ms. Vannoni received her Masters degree from the University of Notre Dame. Additionally, she was the Past President and Chairman of the Board for the Society of Radiation Oncology Administrators (SROA), where she still serves as an advisor, Past President of the Indiana Society of Radiologic Technologists and served on the Board of Directors for Hospice of St. Joseph County in Indiana. She is a member of ASTRO, ASRT, SROA, and is certified as a Radiation Oncology Coder.
