Michael J. Stanek, D.O., F.A.C.O.I
Dr. Stanek has been a practicing licensed physician since 1976 and brings a broad range of clinical experiences to Casa Grande. Dr. Stanek is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. Dr. Stanek began his career as a hospital-based internist and then practiced internal medicine in rural Michigan. In 1994, after completing his oncology/hematology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Dr. Stanek took a faculty appointment at the Ohio State Medical Center and the Arthur James Research Hospital. At Ohio State, Dr. Stanek was active in clinical research, lectured at the medical school, authored research publications, and trained residents and fellows. Moreover, he practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Ohio State University. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH), American Osteopathic Association and Arizona Osteopathic Association. He also is a distinguished fellow and mentor in the American College of Osteopathic Internists and is a fellow in the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis. Dr. Stanek received his undergraduate degree at Ball State University and attended medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
