Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) is the delivery of a highly localized dose of radiation in a few treatments. This treatment is typically reserved for smaller tumors that are in critical locations throughout the body. SBRT is commonly used for the treatment of tumors located in the following disease sites:
- Lungs
- Spine
- Head and Neck (previously irradiated)
- Liver
