Electron Beam Therapy
Electron beam therapy allows for the delivery of radiation to superficial tumors such as skin cancers or skin lesions such as keloids. The Trilogy system has the ability to deliver electrons in addition to photons (the standard form of radiation in external beam radiation therapy). The electron beam is shaped to fit the target site using custom-designed blocks that are produced within the clinic.
